Evaluations

  Speech and language evaluations are completed on the first session and are typically 60 minutes in length. Evaluations are completed via caregiver/therapist consultation, clinical observation, standardized testing, criterion-referenced testing, and/or by a combination of these methods. 

  A written copy of the evaluation results will be given to caregivers along with a copy of the child’s treatment plan. The treatment plan will include specific therapeutic goals tailored to the child's needs and will include a frequency (number of sessions per week) and a duration (number of minutes per session). Treatment plans are recommended by therapist and based off of evaluation results. 

    Evaluations are completed at the initial appointment with therapist, and then again every 6 months to re-evaluate the child’s progression.
